Carton, Jr. has always been affiliated with the construction industry. In 1994, he joined the renowned team of Kent Halvorson, Inc. and took on the challenge of rebuilding the 60-unit condominium renovation that hurricane Iniki had destroyed. In 1996 John moved to Vero Beach as the Senior Project Manager responsible for the complete site work and infrastructure of the Indian River Club’s golf course.Upon completion of the golf course, John’s position found him building the Tanger Outlet Mall. John recognized the treasure he’d found in our community, and in 1998, Carton Construction Company was established. Carton Construction Company established a reputation for providing impeccable quality, boasting luxurious custom homes, rebuilding cottages into estates, as well as, simply adding or redesigning living spaces. Together, John and his wife Shawna reside in Vero Beach with their children John III, Michael, Chris and Sarah. John and Shawna serve their community through their associations with Kiwanis Club, Junior League of Indian River and the Riverside Theatre. |
